Features of transportation
The main focus was loading control and resolving MSDS-related acceptance issues, as many carriers refused the shipment based on safety/acceptance concerns raised by the Safety Data Sheet (SDS/MSDS). Coordination was handled with support from local agents in India.
- Engaged India-based agents to supervise stuffing and to coordinate shipment acceptance with local carriers.
- Most carriers on this route initially declined the cargo due to MSDS-driven safety/acceptance restrictions.
- Together with our Indian partners, we supported the preparation of a properly structured Safety Data Sheet (SDS/MSDS) enabling the cargo to be accepted for carriage.
- Negotiated with ocean carriers and selected a direct service meeting the client’s timeline requirements.
- Container stuffing was performed by the manufacturer under our full supervision.
- Per our requirements, additional blocking/bracing protection was installed to reduce risks during port handling and transshipment.
- Arranged direct delivery of the container from the port to the client’s warehouse in the Moscow Region.
Result for the client
The cargo was delivered as a single container within the agreed timeline. The client avoided additional costs associated with splitting the shipment into multiple containers.
