Client's wishes
Purchase the cargo and deliver it as quickly as possible, as the missing unit was delaying the commissioning of the incubation facility.
Features of transportation
- The manufacturer and supplier refused to sell the cargo both to a Russian buyer and to a Turkish trading company.
- It was necessary to find an authorised distributor outside Russia to enable a re-export to Russia.
- We identified a distributor/agent in the UAE handling similar equipment for the Middle East market. The agent purchased the cargo and, based on our detailed instructions, prepared the documents required for re-export.
- The cargo was collected in Switzerland by our Turkish partner, routed via Istanbul, delivered to Novorossiysk using our weekly shuttle service, and then moved to Saint Petersburg by consolidated truck (LTL).
Result for the client
The
cargo was delivered within 1.5 months — in line with the planned transit time,
including the time required to identify a distributor able to purchase the
goods on the client’s behalf.
