Route
- Pickup in Huzhou, China.
- Transit via Manzhouli.
- Unloading and reloading at a customs bonded warehouse (CBW) in Zabaikalsk.
- Delivery to the plant in the Amur Region.
Client's wishes
- Delivery by curtain-sided truck / low-bed trailer to the specified CBW for further reloading.
- Organisation of transportation with the required specialised escort.
Features of transportation
- The infrastructure at the client-nominated CBW in Zabaikalsk was not suitable for oversized/heavy cargo, so we switched to a CBW equipped for out-of-gauge handling and arranged a higher-capacity crane.
- Legal escort requirements were met by organising a dedicated escort vehicle.
- Cargo insurance was arranged due to the high declared value.
Result for the client
The cargo was delivered intact and on schedule, fully meeting the client’s requirements and without additional costs. The shipment scheme was tested and refined for future repeat deliveries.
