- Verified that packaging and labelling met carrier/terminal and regulatory DG acceptance requirements for multimodal transport.
- Coordinated safe handling requirements with all parties involved (origin, ports, rail operator, and destination handling).
- Managed the full multimodal schedule: connections, cut-offs, lead times, and status control at every stage.
- Prepared and submitted the documentation set required for the customs physical inspection unit (where applicable).
Result for the client
The cargo was delivered intact and exactly on schedule, fully meeting the client’s requirements and with no additional costs. The shipping scheme was validated and is now used for repeat shipments.
