About the client and the task
Client: an official importer and authorised representative of European cosmetics brands in Russia.
Cargo details
Shampoos, conditioners, emulsions, serums, and masks packed in 1,000 kg IBC totes. Volumes are significant — typically 10–15 containers per batch.

The shipper can load no more than four containers per day, which creates a tight schedule: if container positioning and factory stuffing are not planned precisely, the cargo can miss the intended vessel and the entire supply chain shifts.
Route
Italy (Genoa) → Russia (Novorossiysk) → Client’s warehouse

  • In Novorossiysk, the containers went through IDK (X-ray scanning). Some were selected for a full physical inspection.

  • Growex arranged labour and supervised every step from unpacking to re-stuffing, ensuring the inspection process was completed quickly.

  • The cargo was delivered to the client’s warehouse with packaging integrity preserved and without any delay.
Client's wishes
The main value for the client is saving management time. The process had to be organised so the client could stay focused on strategic work and avoid operational involvement (repeated approvals, ad-hoc discussions, joining daily delivery coordination, etc.).

The client receives readiness updates from the supplier and shares only the shipper’s name and the number of containers — the Growex team handles the rest, supported by trusted Italy-side partners we have worked with for 10+ years.

How We Manage the Process (Together with Local Agents)

  • Agents contact the shipper immediately after the client’s go-ahead.

  • They confirm volumes and readiness dates, coordinate loading, and keep us updated for real-time control.

  • They organise phased container positioning in line with the factory’s daily loading limit (we monitor execution).

  • Documentation is handled as a separate critical stage: documents must be prepared per container and in full compliance to avoid customs issues in Russia. We review the set as it becomes ready.

  • We maintain strict timeline control across all stages.

  Our coordination goal is to synchronise the operation so that we:

  1. do not overload the shipper’s site (no space to stage containers);

  2. avoid idle time for trucks (each unit arrives exactly when the cargo is ready);

  3. export the entire batch as one shipment — all containers must arrive at the port together and sail on the same vessel.

Result for the client
At the planning stage, Growex builds a step-by-step shipment plan accounting for the shipper’s loading limits, port operations, vessel schedules, and export customs specifics. We structure the chain so the batch doesn’t just “arrive” — it clears every stage without delays. This level of precision is only possible through full team involvement and tight coordination with our Italy-side partners.
